Según anuncia en su cuenta oficial de Twitter el Ejército de Israel, sus unidades llevan adelante la operación de Protección Edge.

«Nuestro objetivo es apuntar a los túneles de Hamas que permiten a los terroristas infiltrarse en Israel y llevar a cabo ataques. Esto requiere operaciones precisas», señala Israel en Twitter.

Se informó que el primer ministro israelí, Benjamin Netanyahu, ha dado la orden para iniciar una ofensiva terrestre en la Franja de Gaza.
