El Manchester City derrotó sobre el final del encuentro al Tottenham por 3-2 con lo cual se mantiene como líder de la Premier League.
El gol del triunfo lo anotó Mario Balotelli de penal a los 90 minutos del encuentro. Nasri y Lescott habían adelantado para los celestes, mientras que Defoe y Bale anotaron para los de Londres.
El United hizo su tarea al ganar al Arsenal por 2-1. Uno de los goles fue anotado por el ecuatoriano Antonio Valencia.
City obtiene 54 puntos, con 3 menos está el Manchester United y el Tottenham se queda con 46 unidades en una Liga inglesa cuya siguiente fecha se jugará en dos semanas.
