El campeón del año pasado, Borussia Dortmund mantuvo el liderato del torneo alemán de fútbol (Bundesliga) otra semana más tras vencer en la jornada 21 al Bayer Leverkusen por 1-0 con gol del japonés Shinji Kagawa. Co este resultado los de Dortmund sumaron 46 puntos.
Bayern Múnich (con 44 puntos) y Borussia Monchengladbach (43 unidades) son los que siguen de cerca al líder con los puntajes señalados gracias a los triunfos obtenidos el sábado ante el Kaiserslautern (2-0) y Schalke 04 del peruano Farfán (3-0), respectivamente. El extremo derecho de la selección peruana jugó hasta el minuto 63.
Mientras tanto, el Werder Bremen sin Claudio Pizarro logró igualar como local en los descuentos 1-1 ante el Hoffenheim.
Por último, jugando como visita en el último encuentro de la fecha. Hamburgo derrotó 1-0 al Cologne con gol a los 88’ de Paolo Guerrero.
